ZIMBA Showcased at the IHW Forum 2026
17.02.2026
We’re pleased to share that ZIMBA Project is being represented at the IHW Forum – Marketplace for Industrial and High Temperature Heat Pumps, taking place on 18 March 2026.
ZIMBA develops an innovative heat pump system based on an absorption heat transformer (AHT) that upgrades industrial waste heat (70–80 °C) into pressurised steam and process heat at 110–130 °C, with minimal electricity use — supporting the decarbonisation of energy-intensive industries.
Events like this create opportunities to exchange knowledge, connect with technology leaders, and accelerate the adoption of sustainable heating technologies across Europe.
We’re especially glad that this forum is organised by our partners at OST – Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences, providing a great platform for collaboration between research, industry, and innovation.
Looking forward to connecting with Cordin Arpagaus and Daniel Gstöhl during the forum and discussing the role of innovative heat pump solutions in Europe’s clean energy transition.
