ZIMBA is heading to Enlit Europe

Save the date! From 10 to 12 November 2026, the ZIMBA project will be in Vienna for Enlit Europe 2026, joining four other EU-funded projects at the shared HEATogether stand in the EU Projects Zone.

Enlit Europe brings together representatives from across the energy sector to exchange ideas, build partnerships and explore solutions for a more integrated, resilient and decarbonised European energy system. This year’s event will feature more than 750 companies and projects, with a dedicated EU Projects Zone showcasing over 100 EU-funded energy initiatives.

At the event, ZIMBA will join forces with INDHEAP, SOLINDARITY, RE-WITCH and SENERGY NETS under the newly established HEATogether cluster. Together, the five projects represent complementary approaches to industrial heating and cooling, waste heat recovery and upgrading, renewable energy integration, and interconnected energy systems.

ZIMBA will showcase its work on an innovative heat pump based on an ammonia-water Absorption Heat Transformer. The technology is being developed to recover low-grade industrial waste heat and upgrade it into useful heat, initially targeting an output temperature of 110°C and later 130°C.

Visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about ZIMBA’s technology, meet project representatives and discover how the HEATogether projects are contributing to a cleaner and more efficient energy future.
